About this tool
Cooking, workouts, focused work blocks, and "five more minutes" negotiations all need a reliable countdown. Set any duration, watch the progress bar drain, and get a clear audible alarm plus a visual "Time's up!" state when it finishes.
Pause and resume work mid-countdown, so an interrupted timer never has to start over.
How to use
- Enter the hours, minutes, and seconds.
- Click Start; pause or resume any time.
- When it hits zero, the alarm sounds and the timer shows Time's up.

Yes, in most browsers the WebAudio beep plays even when the tab is not focused — but keep your device volume up and do not fully close the tab.
There is no hard cap; you can enter any number of hours. The display uses an HH:MM:SS format that grows as needed.
Pause and resume keep the remaining time. To change the duration, hit Reset first, then enter the new values.
