About this tool
A paragraph typed with caps lock on, or pasted from a source with erratic capitalization, looks unprofessional and is painful to fix manually. The sentence case converter lowercases everything, then capitalizes the first letter of each sentence — restoring normal prose in one step.
It detects sentence boundaries from periods, exclamation marks, and question marks, so multi-sentence paragraphs come out correctly.
How to use
- Paste your text into the input box.
- The sentence-cased version appears instantly below.
- Check that sentence boundaries were detected correctly.
- Copy or download the fixed text.
